Rose ball gown

I was watching "Gone with the Wind" with my mom and well, got inspired!! So here's one of my new Civil War-era ball gown designs!

The skirt has 3 seperate layers on an underskirt with two ruffles on the bottem. The top layer is lace pulled up with ribbons from the pleated waist band. The second layer is rose-colored silk with a handkerchirf hemline; the third layer is lace with a regular hemline with roses and square lace pieces that tuck the edges up. There are also roses on the "pointed" end of the lace hem. The rose silk flounce is gathered into points and flared out fan-shaped. The bottem flounce is lace with a ribbon edging.

The bodice is a rose silk with off-shoulder, ribbon-edged collar that comes to a point in the middle, decorated with a rose. the sleeves and trim on the collar are gathered lace, with one flounce on each sleeve of gathered silk.
